We paid a visit to our great nephew and great nieces. Meet PC Harry: the torch is the attraction at this time, he then moved onto the yellow ticket book so we all got booked and fined for various crimes: at bedtime he handcuffed his mum to his bed. Please don't ever lose the key Harry!

And here are "The Syllables" as Brigit calls them - Daniella and Isabella - think this is Danni but can't swear to it! See how they have grown since 12th October 2008. Very sociable and full of mischief - see below. Poor Harry!

PC Harry's policeman's badge has been commandeered by Danni whilst Issy works out how to blow the whistle! The duck comes as extra.

Double trouble as they quickly put on their new hats and mischievously shoot off before the labels can be removed!

Big Freeze 2009

The South has had freezing weather since Christmas - this is the sea at Sandbanks!

Every morning the birds' water dishes are having to be chipped out - that's not the worse - it's sledgehammers to the sheep and horses' troughs!

And West Park is lined with ghostly trees.

What could be nicer than Granny being allowed out with the pushchair on a very relaxing Christmas morning?! We met cheery dads and other grandparents all with the same task and wishing each other Merry Christmas. As you can see it was all too much for Ellie!

Grandad's turn and still she sleeps - and in case you don't know it's Christmas, note the hat!

Ellie awakes and starts unwrapping - with a couple of helpful elves of course!
