History Weekend

Hi all . Now we are on broadband, all be it only 570kbps , you will see a bit more of the ABC of Life. Mother and I went to Gloucester last weekend to see more Severn Bores having visited Lacock (NT ) on the way. I think we have seen enough now the last one being very good. Both the ones we saw were about half an hour later than the prediction which made it a bit tedious(BORING!! ) Sorry
We also had a guide tour around Gloucester city centre which is steeped in history and lastly we visited the cathedral where some scenes from the Harry Potter films were shot.

I thought the pics would have the file name under each one so top is the cathedral Lavatorium featured in a HP film, jewellers in Southgate
St Gloucester.Next is me on the loo in the Lockup at Lacock. A general view of Lacock and The lockup at Lacock.

There is a garden centre at Lacock called Whitehall and the grub there is equally as good as Otter Nursery in Devon . I expect we will be going there again ,not just to see the Abbey.
I will soon have the knack of setting this out a bit better.
